So how do I either fix this, or get rid of Sim Settlements? I know Sim Settlements is a script-heavy mod, so how would I go about properly uninstalling it? (if it is the actual culprit)
Most of the time it's Sim Settlements in the log. I'd figure I'll at least advance that quest by listening to the Nuka World radio, just to eliminate it as the source. Though sometimes it did have some DLC04 Radio script error.
Most of the time the logs show Sim Settlements as the last entries. The Co-op though, has NO Sim Settlements plots at all. I've completely nuked the Drive In using Sim Settlements' own destruction script, so it's completely empty. The game first stutters for a second the a few seconds later it crashes. It usually happens as I run around the busiest parts of the settlement - around the weapon plaques and mannequins. The Drive In also had about 10 Sim Settlement plots. Both places had been cleaned up using Scrap Everything and had some custom houses made with Snap N Build, with lots of weapon plaques and used mannequins. Designate zones for residential, commercial, or industrial buildings, and then sit back and watch your settlers erect their own buildings, randomly pulling from pools of assets so each building is a unique.So my game keeps crashing only at my settlements and only when I've built them up. It gives Fallout 4 players an entirely new way to build settlements by, essentially, allowing NPCs to build their own. Chris Livingston: Sim Settlements is sort of astounding to me.
